Change the connection mode to “file transfer (MTP)” mode.

Pare che l'opera abbia ricevuto i complimenti da parte di illustri architetti. In realta' il duomo e' stato riportato con maestria al suo originario splendore restituendo alla piazza antistante quell'immagine di armonia che la contraddistingue. Inizialmente alcuni profani hanno addirittura gridato allo scempio "hanno rovinato il duomo di San Giorgio!", come se qualche restauratore folle, perche' non potrebbe certo trattarsi di originalita', avesse preso l'iniziativa di tingere di nero. La vera sorpresa, per i piu', e' stata scoprire che alcune parti del duomo sono nere, questo perche' fatte in pietra asfaltica (o pece, una roccia calcarea impregnata di bitume che le da' la particolare colorazione e di cui il territorio ragusano e' ricco) che col tempo si ossida e perde il suo colore originale. Finalmente dopo circa tre anni e' stata tolta l'impalcatura al duomo di San Giorgio di Ragusa Ibla e abbiamo potuto ammirarne di nuovo la bellissima facciata barocca.
